A construction or permit set — one PDF, several, or the folder they came in. The reader indexes every page across every file, finds the electrical sheets, reads the schedules, counts the tags and measures the raceway. It takes a few seconds on a sixty-page set.
Sheets are merged across the files by drawing id, and where the same sheet appears twice the higher revision wins — so an addendum can go in beside the base set and the takeoff prices the current drawing. Pricing a superseded panel schedule is not a rounding error.
